Network behaviour for different loads

The above calculations were carried out for a variety of loads in the range 10 -- 95% and our results indicate that

  1. Load in the range 10% -- 20%: Average age waveforms are aperiodic but not self-similar
  2. Load in the range 30% -- 70%: Waveforms display self-similarity with
  3. Load in the range 80% -- 99%: Waveforms contain a strong periodic component and calculation of H becomes unreliable [Mandelbrot 1969]
